Marinade for Beef Kabobs



An easy marinade (my favorite kind) for both chicken and beef kabobs.

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce (can be made with low sodium soy sauce)

1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

1/4 Cup Mustard

1-2 cloves of garlic pressed or minced

1 tsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. onion powder

2 Tbs. Honey

1 lb beef or chicken cube cut

Add all ingredients (except for meat) in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.

Place meat in a Ziploc bag and pour approximately two thirds of the marinade over meat.  Reserve the rest to brush on kabobs while cooking.  Refrigerate  overnight.

Tip:  While making the marinade, dip the tablespoon in the vegetable oil before using it to measure the honey. The honey will literally roll off the spoon easy.
