If you like green salsa (Salsa Verde) and guacamole, but can’t decided which one to have, you’ll love this combination of the two. It’s simply called “green dip” because all the ingredients are green.
2 Medium Avocados
8 oz jar of your favorite Salsa Verde
2 green onions chopped
1 tsp. Lime Juice 1 tsp.
Green Jalapeño Tabasco (add more if you like it hot!)
Chopped cilantro (Optional)
Peel and dice the avocados and place them in a bowl. Lightly mash the avocado with a fork, but retain some of the diced avocado. Add half a jar of your favorite green salsa, green onions, lime juice, green Tabasco and mix well. If the dip is too thick to your liking, you can add more salsa. Optional : Stir in the chopped cilantro, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips. Can be served immediately, but for best results chill for one hour.
